Organic Options

Organic Options
More and more people are deciding to choose an organic lifestyle to counteract the imbalances of todays fast-paced world.

An organic lifestyle consists of using products, eating food and generally living a lifestyle, which is free from the chemicals that are present in so much of the commodities that we use to live life in the 21st century developed world.

Some people are choosing to go wholly organic, others, just partly, but it has been proven that an organic lifestyle is beneficial to health and well-being. Here are a few ethics, for organics:

Eating organic food means that fruit, vegetables and grains have not been sprayed with chemicals and have been grown using traditional methods. Organic meat is free from the antibiotics that are fed to animals that are farmed intensively to make them prematurely fat. Ingesting these chemicals and unnatural substances has been proven to have a negative impact on health.

To source the very freshest organic produce many people order fruit and vegetable boxes from farms that are delivered to their door, some people use farmers markets where they can trust their food has been raised/sourced/grown responsibly, and are able to ask the sellers, who are very often the farmers any questions.

Growing vegetables and owning an allotment has increased in popularity in recent years, this is again a way that people are aware of where there food comes from, and its popularity indicates that people are becoming more aware and concerned about this.

Using organic cosmetics, toiletries and household products eliminates the chemicals that tend to be present in conventional products, therefore protecting our bodies and immediate environment from chemical. Brands such as Ecover have been sold for many years but are finding that peoples increased awareness of the environment and their health has been beneficial to sales.

Organic clothing is also becoming more and more popular. Natural fibres such as cotton, hemp and bamboo are grown organically and then made into clothing, which again ensures that skin does not come into contact with chemicals that can be used in clothes dye and manufacturing clothing. Many people who have children and babies will try to adopt some kind of an organic lifestyle, to give their child the purest and healthiest start as possible, and there are a variety of organic childrens clothing options available.

Eliminating unnecessary chemicals and preservatives from our lifestyle can only be a good thing for physical health, but there is also a certain sense of well-being that those who go organic adopt.

Organic meat is always free range, so to eat organic means that you have not contributed to cruelty to animals, pollution and general waste that a non-organic way of life is susceptible to. An organic lifestyle is also considered more sustainable and recyclable, and quite often fair trade products are organic.

An organic lifestyle can be more expensive, however this encourages moderation, as it is widely understood that society today is greedy in excess of what it requires.

So, the benefits of organic are huge and for physical, mental and spiritual well-being, it is certainly a choice to consider.

Organic Fruit

Organic Fruit

Throughout the history of the world, food has been grown using techniques described as organic. But in the last 100 years, conventional farming methods have increasingly relied on the use manufactured compounds such as pesticides and fertilizers, as well as using genetically modified seed. Organic fruits refer to produce grown using natural techniques with no chemicals or with only organic compounds.

Many countries have strict certification rules for labeling fruits and vegetables as organic. The United States, Canada and the European Union are some examples. In the United States, certification is outlined by the state departments of agriculture and conditions include no irradiation, no genetic modification, and most pesticides and fertilizers prohibited. The certification process can be quite costly, particularly for small farmers, which is partly why conventional fruit farming is still used by the majority of the growers.

Studies done on organically grown fruit have revealed several benefits in terms of nutrient content, flavor and shelf life. According to research, organic strawberries have higher levels of antioxidants and ascorbic acid. Their shelf life is longer and with certain varieties the flavor and sweetness was much better.

It is unfortunate that many organic products are more expensive (sometimes up to double in price) and less readily available than non-organic ones. Fortunately though, organic foods are now becoming more affordable as consumers are increasingly health conscious and searching for healthier food options.

Organic fruits can be found in many supermarkets and grocery stores, usually in a separate organic foods section. Open air farmer's markets are also another place to purchase them. Some individual small-scale farmers open up their orchards to members of the public to come and pick and purchase their own fruit for a small fee.

Other benefits of organic farming is that it's healthier for the environment, it reduces the emission of greenhouse gases that cause global warming, and it maintains the biodiversity of fruiting plants. In the latter case, many commercial farming systems have reduced our fruit options to just a few genetically modified varieties, meaning that many indigenous fruit species are in danger of going extinct.

Often times organic produce is grown by small, individual local farmers. Purchasing organic varieties helps to support local economies and reduce pollution caused when transporting fruits over long distances by road or air.

Organic fruit are not necessarily free of pesticides, however it seems that less of the toxins are retained in the body from organic varieties. Studies done on children have shown that the pesticide levels in the urine of youngsters who ate mainly organically grown produce was five to seven times less than for those who ate fruit grown using conventional farming techniques. This is good news for parents who buy fruit for their children and weaning babies.

Some fruit have a higher tendency for pesticide residue, for example strawberries, apples, grapes, peaches, pears, cherries and nectarines. If you're wondering which organic fruit varieties you should select first, then these are the ones. Fruits such as pineapples, papaya, avocados, bananas, kiwi and mangoes generally have minimal pesticide residues in comparison to the non-organic varieties.

Organic Clothing

Organic Clothing

The Green Revolution is changing how people think and perceive their environment. These changes are prevalent in everything from our food supply, to the buildings we live and work in, and even the clothing we wear. Demand for organic clothing is growing rapidly and is expected to triple by the end of 2008, but many people are still unaware of this $ 2.6 billion dollar industry that spans the entire globe.

What does it mean for clothes to be organic? Simply that the clothes are made from non-toxic, natural materials grown, and manufactured in an ecologically sound, sustainable fashion. Common materials used are cotton, wool, bamboo, and even soy. Bamboo trees grow extremely rapidly, several inches per day, even without pesticides. The pulp has a fine texture and produces products similar to silk that are highly breathable, UV resistant and antimicrobial. Soy protein fibres have exceptional durability and accept a wide range of dyes, yet possess smoothness akin to cashmere, though smoother still. Organic wool comes from sheep that are farmed on organically certified soils. Cotton is the most widely available of organic clothing products, as it is extremely durable and efficient to produce. Only 10% of its mass is lost during its conversion into textiles. China is the largest producer of cotton, while the most efficient production takes place in California. Its qualities are exactly the same as regular cotton.

Why choose organic clothes? The textile industry is among the worst global polluters. Since cotton is not a food crop, pesticides are used more frequently and have higher toxicity. These poisons leach into the soil and spread to water supply surrounding communities rely on. Farmers and their families often suffer serious health problems as a result of exposure to these chemicals. Unsustainable farming practice depletes the soil in some regions and destroys eco-systems for years to come. Organic farming does not endanger human or wildlife and promotes clean air, water, and soil. Organically certified clothing will contain no traces of harmful chemicals or dyes, an especially important consideration for anyone with infants, and toddlers.

Where can you get it? There is a vast array of online providers of organic wear, carrying lines from simple hemp t-shirts to, baby clothes, to high end luxurious linens, comforters, and mattresses. Nike, Wal-Mart, and Target are just a few companies that have started selling their own organic lines. Specialty vendors carry more unique items, such as velour diapers and soakers or bamboo towels. Typically these products are more expensive. A basic organic t-shirt is likely to cost you $ 10 more than a standard non-organic version. Hang clothes on organic hangers made of sundela, a product made of compressed newspapers. Currently it may be difficult to find a local vendor where you can try before you by, but as awareness and demand spreads, expect to see more popping up.

The Organic Seed

The Organic Seed

Organic gardening is the main thing in gardening today. More and more garden enthusiasts are shifting from the conventional gardening to this method mainly because it's chemical free. Is there such a thing as an organic seed though? The first thing that every gardener has to consider in order to succeed in gardening is the quality of soil he is going to plant. The next most important this is the seed because it's basically what you will be trying to grow and nurture.

The organic seed has become a favorite of most gardeners because it's much easier to grow and cultivate. Below are just some of the characteristics of seeds that you have to be familiar with so you will have greater chances of buying the right seed that you can easily grow. Manufacturers use codes or labels such as U for untreated, O for organic, OP for open-pollinated, and H for heritage.

Now let's get to know each type of seeds so you can easily determine which one to choose and which one to avoid. Untreated seeds are those that have not been coated with harmful chemicals. This means that this type of seed is not genetically or chemically modified in any way.

Organic growers have no idea whether these injected genes will mutate into something that will endanger a person's health, such as create different allergens in the food, damage the liver or the kidneys, combine with the good bacteria in the gut to create its own version, etc. Organic seed(O)comes from plants, which have been grown, via organic methods where no chemicals used nor any harmful elements coated to this seed.

Growers prefer this seed to the others because unlike chemically altered or generated seeds, this type of organic seed is mutually beneficial to the grower and the consumers. For the former, it is easy to plant and nourish. For the latter, it does not cause any harm when partaken.

How Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising and Organic Search Results Work

How Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising and Organic Search Results Work

The main advantage of Search Engine Optimization services is its ability to improve a client's online performance through search engine results and traffic to the site. The main two types are Organic results and "paid" or Sponsored Links.

Organic, also known as (natural), results are what appear in the search engines results page like Google. There is also no guarantee of higher page ranking in Google's organic search results, however taking strategies to implement keywords in as many ways as possible in the site either in the page titles or navigation will greatly help.

Positioning and relevancy is everything when it comes to a customer finding your landing page. Where in the past homepages was the central point for location of a site, this has now become more obsolete. New articles, blogs, news are all written on a daily basis and businesses would be advised to allow search engines to crawl their whole website rather than just their direct URL link.

Another technique to aid in the sites positioning is choosing an appropriate domain name for the business. Try to word it as easily as possible, something customers will remember. If possible try to combine a keyword or key-phrase in the domain name to give some indication of the types of products and services the company provides.

Paid advertising known as Pay-Per-Click (PPC) provides about 20% for the sponsored or promotional links that search engines provide i.e. Yahoo! Sponsored Search or Google Ad words. Businesses pay to have their results shown up as paid listings in the search results in the hope of gaining a competitive advantage over others. The advantages to having paid advertising are the positioning in the search results and having more improved visibility.

This can also be an expensive option for the company at hand. As each pay-per click ads are charged to the company. Where they pay a set amount, which they specify when they make the ad, with a maximum amount they are willing to pay. So in turn this affects the positioning as the higher the positioning the more the budget costs of advertising. SEO can take a while to take effect and doesn't solely depend on the bidding price. PPC could be a benefit in the beginning if used correctly and efficiently as these listings are only a short-term solution.

PPC does not necessarily guarantee a consistently higher position. However this is not always the case as many customers skip the paid advertising sections and click on the organic results, which in turn receives about 80% of the market share.

Overall paid advertising can be a costly expenditure to a business and it would be much more beneficial to try and gain positions in the organic results as much as possible.

Organic Music

Organic Music

The word "organic" is used quite a bit these days. We hear it in business as organic growth and now we hear it with regard to music recording and podcasting. The term "organic" has come to refer to something that is natural, authentic, and has core value. For example, the organic growth in business refers to true expansion in the central core of the company not inflated increases from outside venues or other sources.

According to the online urban dictionary, organic music is music that has a core sound and tone that is natural by use of acoustic instruments and vocals. This definition went on to elaborate about organic music resonating positive vibes or something to that effect. As musicians, the music industry cautions us to be "more organic." However, in this digital age, recording music in a home studio on a PC via Audacity or Adobe Audition by its very definition is digital. The sound is stored in a system of ones and zeros. Musicians can record short segments and easily repeat these sections by copying and pasting multiple times. Drums can be manufactured on keyboards or can be made completely inside a computer by using software. Most indie musicians use electronic keyboards, drum machines, and software for instrumentation when recording. These resonating vibrations though, are merely recreations from a computer.

Indie musicians are branching out into selling their music to film and television (i.e. sync licensing or synchronization). This leads to wondering how modern indie recording musicians can obtain an organic music texture?

TROUBLE WITH QUANTIZATION

Quantizing is a digital software adjustment that can move beats to equal other beats. So if a beat is slightly off, it can be snapped perfectly into place. The same can be used for vocals that are slightly flat or sharp by adjusting the pitch. Anyone doing their own recording and mixing has their own techniques for editing and layering tracks. However, something that I noticed early on with quantizing beats in my instruments was when listening back, some instrumental sounds were canceled out. The aural threshold of human hearing is limited, so by aligning every single instrument to an exact beat meant that the listener wasn't hearing everything that was intended. This aural phenomenon means that only a few sounds can exist in the same space at the same time. I also noticed that if two instruments had similar timbres or tones, one of them might be canceled out aurally.

Maybe this organic music direction has a slightly different meaning? Maybe it means less perfect?

ORGANIC SYMPHONIC

Let's compare this to a symphony orchestra or choir where you have multiple musicians playing together at the same time. The orchestra has a thick acoustic sound which fulfills the definition organic music. If all the musicians are playing at the same time how can we hear the various instruments? There are a few factors that make this possible. The musicians are playing at the same time, but no two people can place precisely note for note at the exact time like a computer can. This fraction of a millisecond difference when each musician puts their bow to the string can be multiplied by all the musicians playing. This produces a thickness to the sound texture of orchestras and choirs.

Another reason for being able to hear the various instruments is due to the timbre of the individual instruments or choir voices. No two violins or voices have the exact same tone or vibrato. This variance allows human hearing to differentiate between sounds.

An additional reason for variance is the use of multiple ranges of notes. Orchestras have first and second violins, violas, cellos, and multitude of other instruments playing different notes in different octaves.

The last reason is where the musicians reside in the linear plane of hearing. For example, violins are heard more to the left, cellos basses are heard more to the right, and woodwinds are more central. This is a result of where they are seated in the orchestra during a performance and where a listener would commonly hear them from the audience.

APPLYING THIS

Knowing this information can be vital in providing a more organic sound to recordings.

Instrumentation- If you are using more than one type of the same instruments like guitars from a keyboard or digital strings, try using completely two different textures. You can even adjust one to be more treble sounding than the other. If you are adding a digital woodwind or flute of some type, add in the vibrato. If you are using multiple instruments, use different octave ranges and divergent notes within the chord structure of the song.

Panning - Use the pan feature and place instruments left center, another center, another right center, etc. This allows the listener to hear the individual instruments. If you are a band but want to achieve a chamber orchestra sound, place the orchestra how you would hear them live-- violins on the left, viola left center, cello/bass more to the right. Place these instruments more to the back by using reverb while placing your guitar, bass, and vocals more up front.

Quantizing - By all means, quantize your rhythm and drums and a few of the instruments. In other cases, play the instruments all the way through the song and allow for that millisecond variance, as if multiple musicians were playing at the same time.

Timbres - Add a real voice, real percussion, or real other instrument along with your recording. If you are using the digital ah's in a song from a keyboard, get a real person to sing along with them. Adding in live actual sounds goes along way to making the recording more organic.

All the Way Through - I will use quantization to make drum tracks or basic percussion tracks and bass tracks. The rest I play live, all the way through. It is a challenge to do this and requires practice. The end result is that you can achieve a sound of multiple musicians even if you are recording by yourself.

"Music is a form of emotional communication, and when an instrument is played by a skilled performer, it can conduct that emotion from composer, through performer to listener. But when machines are allowed to have too much influence, then that emotional connection is broken. Yes, the notes, rhythms and timbres remain, but the subtleties that make music truly involving are lost. Non-organic music does often start with good DNA (to continue the analogy), but then it goes through the machine process and is liberally treated with pesticides (quantization) before being packaged and sold to the public." Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry

Organic chemistry is a branch within chemistry which deals with the study of chemical compounds containing carbon; their formation, their processes, properties, reactions and structure. Formerly, it was popular belief that it was very difficult to artificially synthesize compounds from living organisms. When it was realized later, that even those compounds could be treated in ways similar to the inorganic ones, in laboratories and through artificial processes, organic chemistry gained momentum.

Organic compounds are usually covalently bond which allows it to form unique structures in the form of long chains and rings. As opposed to inorganic compounds, organic compounds melt, decompose, sublime below 300 degrees. Solubility of organic compounds depends on solvent type and on functional groups. Perkin's attempt to manufacture quinine which resulted in organic dye generated a lot of interest in organic chemistry.

Life depends on inorganic chemistry as well, and it is not always that organic compounds can be related to all the life processes taking place.

The production of organic molecules may include processes not including life. These include those enzymes that require other metals, like iron, rather than carbon. Elemental carbon and a few classes of carbon compounds are also considered inorganic. Organic compounds can be put to many uses in a number of applications. They are used in products like paints, plastics, foods, explosives and also form the basis of many natural and earthly life processes. They may even act as catalysts in biochemical reactions, owing to their varying reactivity.

The petrochemical industry was created by the discovery of petroleum and its separation into fractions. Conversion of compounds using different chemical processes also gave a boost to the petrochemical industry. To explain classification, in organic chemistry it is required that the relative arrangement of atoms within a molecule must be added for a full description. In short, organic substances are classified on the basis of their molecular arrangement and other constituents.

Compounds have been divided into functional groups and have further been distributed into sub classes. There are two major categories of compounds; namely the aliphatic compounds and the cyclic compounds.
The aliphatic compounds are further divided into 3 groups, homologous series, paraffin alkenes without any double or triple bonds or olefins alkenes with the a single or double bond and acetylenes alkenes with triple bonds. Aliphatic compounds may either be straight chained or branch chained ones which further affects characteristics like octane number or cetin number in petroleum chemistry.

Cyclic compounds maybe saturated or unsaturated. The cyclic hydrocarbons can be divided into two groups namely; salicylic and aromatics. The former type exists in the form of large rings while aromatics contain conjugated double bonds e.g. benzene.

In organic chemistry, carbon is believed to have the capability of forming certain compounds whose molecules can form a network by attaching themselves to each other. This process is known as polymerization and the chain that is formed is called polymers while monomer remains the source compound. Polymers can be artificially produced and are called industrial polymers while those occurring naturally or synthetic polymers are referred to as biopolymers e.g. Teflon, polythene, nylon etc. All these may be present in different varieties varying on the basis of compositions used to produce them.

Another important area of study that falls within organic chemistry is the bi molecular chemistry. It is of particular interest to biochemists. Biochemistry involves the study of the long chains bio polymers and amino acids, carbohydrates etc., basically, the multi-functional group molecules in living organisms. Animal biochemistry contains small molecule intermediates required to produce energy with the use of common hydrocarbons found in animals.

Fullerenes are among those compounds which have electronic properties due to their spherical structure. Organic compounds containing bonds of carbon along with nitrogen, oxygen and halogen are also classified within organic chemistry.

Organic reactions are chemical reactions which involve organic compounds and the reactions the compounds undergo are determined by the functional groups. Organic chemistry encompasses the study of all such reactions and is an applied science used in many areas of study, especially to design synthesis, analyze and put it to practical use.

Organic Farming

Organic Farming

The word organic has a number of connotations attached to it. The definition cannot be narrowed to a particular area of study; in fact, the word "organic" spreads over a larger range of areas where it can be applied. The basic definition, however, remains the same because the derivation of the meaning of the word is unanimously universal. Organic is derived from or relates to, living organisms. In the simplest sense of the word, organic is simply organic matter obtained from the use of living organisms.
Anything that involves the use of fertilizers or pesticides which are strictly and solely obtained from animal or vegetable origin are organic in nature.

Raised or carried out without the use of drugs, hormones or synthetics chemicals deems products to be organic in nature, example being organic Cattle rearing. Lifestyle of people can also be organic if it is close to nature or simple and healthy. Organic farming is described as an ecologically balanced approach to farming which does not rely on artificial means to yield products. It is basically not treated with any kind of chemicals or at the most, the minimum amounts of chemicals are used. Foods which are organic are usually believed to be free of artificial additives and processed with the least use of artificial methods.

Surveys and studies have revealed the environmental effects of organic farming and the consensus across these surveys is that organic farming is less detrimental for the following reasons:

1 - Organic farms do not consume or release synthetic pesticides into the environment, which may prove harmful for soil and aquatic life.

2 - They are capable of maintaining a diverse eco system and a balanced one.

3 - Uses less energy and produce less waste.

4 - Adds fertility to soil

5 - Provides boosts the natural resistance of plants and animals against diseases by encouraging the number of natural organisms to flourish.

Apart from benefiting the environment, it is also accredited to organic farming that it increases the yield. However, there are certain critics who refute it by claiming that organic farming can feed a meager number of people compared to the world population and that too after destruction of eco systems and an excess waste of resources. A rebuttal to this statement shows that materials needed for organic farming are easily accessible than those used in conventional farming, and thus organic methods could produce enough food to sustain the world population. The fact of the matter is, that organic farming may benefit the yield in some countries while it may not do the same in others, depending on how developed a country is and obviously because of the availability of materials needed in organic farming. Studies also reveal that organic farming is more energy efficient.

Moreover, organic products are known to have more nutrients as compared to conventionally grown products. Since the soil quality improves as a result of organic farming better taste is also attributed to organic products for this reason.

As given above, organic products are more improved and provide many benefits to the consumers. Usually all organic products have similar characteristics. All such products are free from the use of any synthetic chemicals and are extremely original in nature. Generally organic products are more costly and higher demands of these products are directly related to higher incomes. A number of other factors determine the demand for organic products and the need for an organic lifestyle. The propensity to buy organic products has been related to people's concern to external or direct personal effects of their usage.

Organic Skin Care

Organic Skin Care

Organic skin care is the most natural method for taking care of and improving your skin. The use of organics have been used by man for skin care for centuries. Organic skin care is not only better for your skin, but can be less expensive. The use of organic natural products will not only improve the look of your skin and keep you looking younger longer, it can also prevent many skin disorders.

These use of fruits and vegetables is very common in many organic skin care routines. Cucumber is one of the most popular produce used. Apples, ginger, and papya are also used widely and have a very refreshing revitalizing effect on the skin. Almost every skin care book has a chapter on the use of organics for skin care and can be used to develop a routine of your own. Always try to use fresh organically grown fruits and other produce for your skin and avoid trying to save money with bad rotten produce.

Many products on the market today list milk as an important ingredient. That is because milk is known to have very good natural cleansing properties for the skin. When combined with the rough texture of ground oatmeal, milk becomes a very good skin cleanser. Ground oatmeal is especially good for very oily skin and when combined with other items like honey and fruits, makes a very good organic cleansing skin mask.

Wheat germ, another great organic product, is high in vitamin E and is used both as an exfoliant and a moisturizer. Wheat germ oil is also a widely used product in facial masks when combined with other organic products.

From rose water for skin toning, to honey for that golden glow, the use of organics on the skin is very beneficial and popular. When used properly these organic products will leave your skin looking great and also keep more money in your wallet.

Create Your Own Organic Compost

Create Your Own Organic Compost

Compost is the most inexpensive and conservative way to make fertilizer for your garden. Since you are building a raised vegetable garden you have control over what you put in your soil. As discussed in our organic fertilizer article your soil can not always provide what your plants need. Save yourself money and recycle common kitchen waste at the same time.

How CompostingĂ‚ Works
Bacteria breaks down natural organic matter in your heap. When this breaking down occurs the organic matter releases nutrients like phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium. This rotting in the compost heap creates heat making the compost break down more efficient. Your compost which was garbage to start becomes essential nutrients to grow more food. Amazing really!

Compost Mix
To get a good compost mixture I like to keep it simple. Remember you need about 30 times more carbon then nitrogen. Nitrogen includes grass clippings, manure, kitchen scraps and green plants. Carbon includes leaves, wood branches, paper, saw dust.

What Are Kitchen Scraps?
These are scraps you find in the kitchen that you would normally through away. This includes vegetables, grains, fruit rinds, tea bags, egg shells, coffee grinds and filters also bread. Do not include meat, fish, cheese or butter.

Compost Bins
I prefer the wooden bin with no bottom. Make sure you have two bins so you can continue to fill another while one is full. You can purchase a plastic one too. These are often black to help with the heating process and the sides come apart so you can remove your compost later. If you are building your compost over a few weeks time you should turn the compost once it is full to start the rotting process. Use an activator like blood or manure to speed up the process.

I hope this was helpful and let me know what you use for a great compost. Happy gardening.

SEO firms usually offer services that can solve all the problems relating to website's visibility and exposure. If you are looking for ways to draw visitors and clients, then search engine optimization techniques are the only way to find out the solution. Most of the websites are old fashioned and poorly designed and are unable to draw attention of clients and visitors. Almost everyone cannot build a website that is strong enough to catch the attention of people. Hence to fulfill the deficiency, there are many seo firms available in the market. However there are a few things that you should keep in mind before you assign your project to any of the seo firms.

When you are heading to the market to assign your project to some seo firm then find out how they optimize the websites. Good seo firms enjoy a good reputation among the clients and customers. Look for the clients review as that will help you to make a good idea about the reputation that the company enjoys. Good seo firms avoid black hat techniques as such techniques are a short cut to get to the top of the search results but not last for long. However there are many seo firms who take advantage of the customer's lack of knowledge and use such techniques to get a fast and speedy success. Hence you should make sure that your chosen seo agency is using good and reliable methods of the website's visibility and promotion.

Most of the seo firms also have testimonial by different clients. Take a look at them as you can make a rough idea about the company's reputation. Also go through the website that they have optimized in the past and check the websites ranking in the search. Also find out if the content is written in such a manner that there is natural flow among it. Those website which have cluster of keywords and are densely packed are usually marked as spam. Hence do not hire such seo firms that bring a bad name to your website. Lastly find out if the seo firm can work in all the directions and not focus on only one. This way you will not fall prey for any seo firm.
